Some orders are shipped within The United States, while our small batch of made-to-order items will take 10-12 working days to ship outside Nigeria. We ship outside The United States and Nigeria.

What is the turnaround time for orders?

Typically, small batch orders shipped from Nigeria take 10-12 working days. Items available will be shipped within 4-5 working days within The United States and Canada.

How do I care for my dyed Akwete and Adire?

Akwete: Traditionally, these items are worn on specific occasions and air-dried. When washed by hand, soft detergents or bar soaps. We recommend dry cleaning for Akwete only when necessary.

Adire: We recommend washing in cold water with a very mild detergent to preserve the vibrant quality of your dyed fabrics. Avoid direct sunlight when drying, and iron on a low setting.

Do you use traditional Nigerian dyeing techniques?

Yes, it is important to know how diverse the continent is, as it is by the Yoruba people of the Southwest. As we continue to grow, we will continue to update our dyeing techniques. We work directly and almost exclusively with women.

Can I return or exchange my order?

Yes, returns or exchanges are accepted for the wrong items. Be sure to get in touch with us immediately if you have any issues or if you got the wrong size and color. There is no extra charge for the same-item exchange or return.
